Interest in a reunion?

Hey everyone! 

I will throw this out and wait to see comments to this post.  If we had a reunion, where and when would be the best time?  Some factors to take into account…

1. kids.  Some of us have kids in school, so timing is rather limited to Summer and seasonal holiday periods.  (seasonal holiday periods tend to be reserved family times)

2. location. Best to try to have it in a region that is close to the majority of attendees.

3. cost.  Where to have it and cost for lodging.

4. What the heck are we going to do once we get together?  Just stare at one another in amazement on how old we all look?   LOL!

5. How long would it last?   Arrive on Friday, leave on a Sunday/Monday?

So… if you have any comments, please contribute to the “think tank”.   :)

  1. i’ve wanted one ever since roberts wedding. we need to concentrate on getting in touch with everyone that way we can find out were to have it and all that stuff. I’m READY!

  2. Definitely interested…I agree that it needs to be during the Summer. Very difficult to get away at any other time of the year because of the kids. As to what to do…no ideas b/c I would just love to sit and catch up on what everyone’s been up to the last 20+ years!!!! :)

  3. Thanks for getting this site up, very interested in a reunion. Just as an FYI for you photos, class of 86 was the last graduating class on UDH before they closed it. 87 was the fisrt UDH and ABQ combined class, of which I am a member. We were moved out of UDH in March of 86.

    Thanks for the information! I guess I can remove the 88-91 years? If you like I can put up a special page for the UDH/ABQ 87 year? It’s not a problem. Do you have your yearbook? Do you have any other photos? I’d love to post them.

    What you say makes perfect sense … I graduated from UDH in 84. Then in 86 my Dad was laid off and he paid out of pocket for my senior year of boarding school in 87.

  6. Yikes, it’s been a year since somebody commented on having a reunion. Well, a reunion is a great idea b/c we have so much catching up to do! There’s a big Brat reunion in Los Angeles in May 2009. Maybe we can just plug into that one? I know it’s taken me FOREVER to write in…I’ve been sending in photos throughout the year. Thanks, James, for putting together a wonderful UDH website. It’s been fun going through everyone’s pictures. :)
